This is just a short mini update since I've been absolutely SWAMPED in the past few months! I was browsing around and I found this really cool looking tag cloud on the Kiss 92.5 website so I decided to look into it. It was made by this guy named Roy Tanck. At first I was discouraged because it looked way too complicated for me to figure out how to use (he was using a different publishing site called Word Press) but eventually I a blogger-friendly version on Blogger Buster.
That's all the updates I have for now. I have so much stuff I want to post up on here (new posters, etc) PLUS I've decided to make a mini story line on getting my piano students ready for the upcoming Christmas Concert. I recorded part of the first group practice today (which went pretty well... at the expense of my voice).
P.S. I kept the original label cloud near the bottom for those who don't have Flash Player 9 installed on their computer. Also this wins me brownie points for usability too :)

My New Love....
Today I realized that Adobe Illustrator is AMAZING. I really regret not taking the time to learn it this summer. Thank goodness I chose to take CCT204! (*BONUS* All CCIT students get a copy of Adobe CS4 on October 5th! I love Love LOVE my program.) I honestly did not realize that Illustrator was so EASY to learn and maneuver. I can't wait to use it for my future pieces, especially since I've decided to take a more artistic role for my clubs this year.
I definitely have spread myself out (hopefully not too thin?) in various areas.
Also, I played around with the layout a bit more today. There are a few extra random links lined up in a row at the top. I'll try and update them every now and then to keep things interesting (so you'll get a chance to why I am the Queen of Procrastination) and maybe find some REAL images instead of MSN Messenger emoticon shortcuts.

New Layout... RAWR!
So to celebrate this, I will officially start making this blog public (a.k.a. post it up on Facebook) sometime this weekend once I clear up a few things (links, titles, fonts, etc). I am excited!

First post!
FINALLY...
After almost 3 months of procrastination, I've finally gotten down to writing my first official blog post for "Thoughts, 'to go' ".
Keep in mind, I did not come empty-handed! I have listed a few legitimate reasons/excuses why I'm starting this so late...
1. I've been working 6 days a week (I'm crazy, I know.) since school ended.
2. I wasn't really sure what this blog should be about. (I was thinking about potentially using this blog as part of my writing portfolio.)
3. I'm really good at procrastinating. (Countless hours of watching TV, playing Restaurant City, talking on the phone, and attempting to play tennis are just some of the many time-wasting activities I've done this summer.)
------------------------------------------
Regardless, I'm here now! So I guess I should start explaining what I've decided to blog about.
*crickets chirping*
.

.
...... *crunch* eww
......*silence*
I still don't really have a main topic/focus!
However, I have decided upon a few restrictions. Such as, there won't be any crazy/angry/psychotic/emo-type blogs here. (Those can be found elsewhere if you know where to look.) Also, I will try to keep the "Today I did this... and this... and this...." blogs to a minimum. These thoughts are purely my own (unless I mention otherwise), and I am definitely looking forward to seeing some sort of development in my writing skills.
I also want to redesign this ugly (sorry blogger) layout as well, once I get my non-existent (for now) web skills. Maybe I'll try make some flash stuff too, and if I'm feeling really ambitious, I'll whip up some stuff on photoshop.
-----------------------------------------
Just to get the ball rolling, some ideas for the layout!
When I first thought of this blog, I think I was hungry. (What can I say? I love food.) "Thoughts 'to go' " was imagined in my head as a Chinese take-out box with random stuff/ideas/thoughts spewing out from it. The idea was that I could blog anywhere, just as long as I had wi-fi and my iPod Touch. (ie. taking a meal 'to go'...take-out box... get it?) I guess this is a bit old-fashioned, I mean I could've just made up a Twitter account, but I decided to make a blog instead.
I guess I should start looking at more take-out boxes and figuring out some sort of logo. Maybe a box with my face on it? Haha... no. I'll think of something good. :)
